Dean Marshall Tuck is a writer living in eastern North Carolina with his wife and daughters. His novel Twinless Twin: A Novel was chosen by Jason Mott as the winner of AWP’s 2024 James Alan McPherson Prize for the Novel. Recent poetry can be read in Witness Magazine, Rattle, and Litmosphere: Journal of Charlotte Lit. Tuck serves on the advisory board for North Carolina Literary Review and teaches writing at Wayne Community College in Goldsboro, NC.
