About the author

Dean Marshall Tuck is a writer living in eastern North Carolina with his wife and daughters. His novel Twinless Twin was chosen by Jason Mott as the winner of AWP’s 2024 James Alan McPherson Prize for the Novel. Excerpts from his novel can be found in Epoch, South Carolina Review, and Alaska Quarterly Review. His short stories can be found in The Florida Review, Fugue Journal, Beloit Fiction Journal, and other journals. Tuck serves on the advisory board for North Carolina Literary Review and teaches writing at Wayne Community College in Goldsboro, NC.
